The photo was taken on the street "Na Prikopech" which is probably the most expensive boulevard in Prague.

Evening in Prague

This photo was taken one evening while wandering the streets of Prague. It is one of those moments in life that seldom repeats itself, the moon positioned above the cathedral while its top piece points directly at it. Also, something beautiful in the way the broadcast antenna contrasts with the old world feel of the basilica.

Wenceslas Square

The last day we spent in Prague we wanted to take a walk in the night, because we thought that the city should be even more charming. We were right.

The pic is a view of the avenue that is in front of the National Museum, in Wenceslas Square, and in the foreground you can see the statue that depicts Wenceslas.

The camera used is a Sony DSLR Alpha 200, and the lens is an 18-70 mm that came with it.

All I can remember about taking the photo, was how frustrated I was getting at being jostled by the crowds. Of about 6 shots, this is the only remotely useable one!!

I'm a plant fitter by trade, working for a hire company. I can't draw or paint, so I took up photography...

It was taken on a beautiful and warm sunday in june this year. The Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) is my favourite place in Prague. I love the buildings and the atmosphere (even though its very crowded on most days).
